Stopped by the police

Just been stopped by the police calling into my local to get a steak at nine oclock (been a long day).Did not mind in the slightest as I had a stump grinder on the back of the truck and they were only interested in its ownership . Plant apparently is stolen every night in our area and it is good to see they are doing at least something about it.

as long as they were polite eh. But maybe you were getting the steak to through at the dogs to enable you to chore the rest of the yard

I was out picking a mate up from a night out at 2am over the weekend, i was in my vito and got pulled as a white van being around at that time of night rasied suspision. They checked me out and let me on my way. Guess its good to see them doing something for a change.

Would not have been so polite to them if they came back I was too late for my steak after spending twenty minutes with them.

i was stopped last year 2 am out in the town in the mog only wanted some late night food and the navara had the trailer fully loaded , they hadnt a clue what they were looking at

It's nice to know that they are targeting plant moving at night,we need all the help we can get against theft.

I once saw an excavator being driven out of an industrial estate at 3am, which seemed rather odd so I phoned the local cop shop but the bloke on the desk didnt seem too interested

i once got pulled in my old hilux coming out of my village. police said their had been a lot of burglaries recently and it was an odd vehicle to be on the road at 10pm. i told him not to be so daft, its a rural village full of tradesmen and if I were to rob things a transit luton would be a better vehicle. i got sent on my way.
