So..... Let me get this right. This guy spiked and topped live trees that were to be retained? Send that man down.

 

Did the trees die?

 

Self-set siccies?......I doubt it.

As foreman of the Jury, I'd call for acquittal for the tree surgeon, his judgement was impaired due to strong mitigating circumstances and a love for his wife.

the landowner should receive the maximum possible sentence for breaching TPO regulations, and 6months inside for drug-dealing.

The T/O is severely reproached for TPO-ing such horrible trees in the 1st place, making a farce of planning regulations with a total lack of foresight

Would the moral of the story change if little johnys wife wasn't I'll but wanted a bigger TV or expensive shoes?

 

Or what I'd the land owner didn't want any trees pruning but asked johny to do some fly tipping or selling some class A drugs?
