Did they just fire you into the tree with the Big Shot ??

That'd be far too much like fun in the workplace and I'm sure that there's an EU directive against that.

But it is amazing how quick you can get up a tree with some big blokey climber type hanging off the end off your rope . The more rotund amonst you are usefull

I think BMI is now seen as a flawed measurement here. Rather shape, ratio and waist size are the current in vogue measurements. On the BMI scale I am morbidly obese - 6'4" and fluctuating between 16 and 17 stone!!! On the new system I'm still in trouble having a waist size just over 38". 40" is real bad, 38" borderline and less ok etc. When I was a 120 a day log, bar and rail cutter I was 12 stone. Old and fat now! :laugh1:

im 6ft 5 and 12stone, tis handy being tall, gives you good reach.

We had a chap on our course at college, must have been similar weight to you, i had to rescue him on my cs38 assesment :scared1::crying:

There was only one harness that would fit him, he was a good climber when it came to take downs though. Not sure about reductions, never worked with him on one.
