Lets not get carried away now, we're all grown persons, a few swear words arent going to hurt anyone, Now if they are directed at someone intentionally thats a different matter, I swear LOADS during the course of a day but i refrain from doing on here (its hard tho haha) if a few words un-intentionaly get posted its no big deal surely

as someone else pointed out so long ago, we want to be looked at as a professional industry and get paid accordingly....well this site is in effect becoming a shop window for our industry, i have no idea what percentage of home owners or businesses view this but i would say its substantial enough to at least act like professionals? i really dont see this request is enough to warrant making an issue out of?

Your right Steve, it shouldn’t be an issue. I wouldn’t swear in front of my mother, and I wouldn’t swear on here. Its not just the public that are viewing the forum, some esteemed, highly regarded professionals are regularly viewing and I for one wouldn’t want to be associated with bad language. Save it for the work site.

Steve, what about "blasphemy"? Theoretically it crosses the religious orientation rules on here but I've seen "JC" a few times for instance. I'm sure if I said that or "something Mohammed" I'd be reprimanded?

you're right mate....in an ideal world everyone would self moderate :thumbup1:
