Why thank you kindly Mr sean :001_smile:

 

First two were on an old woodbank around a Sweet Chestnut/Rpwan coppice woodland in North Norfolk this morning, and the last is on one of the dryadeus brackets that Tony & I had the fortune to see last week in Kent.

 

 

Quite pleased with them I have to say :blushing::biggrin:

David, with shots like those above, How close do you have to actually get?? and how much of it is down to a good zoom?? :001_smile:

 

They look like you are inches away, So im guessing youd have to be quite close before the zoom comes into play

cms away liam, no zoom. Just set on to macro.

 

being that close to a stink horn in full flied up frenzy, aint such a nice place to be though :blushing::biggrin:

Cheers, I did wonder, I just didnt think the flys in pic 2 would stay around if you got so close, thats why i asked.

 

Truly amazing shots tho David :thumbup1: Are they with the G11?? was it G11?? :blushing:
