  2. Lowa mountain, patrol or combat depending on your needs,i personally have worn mountain gtx for 15 years, wouldnt wear anything else.....expensive but i believe with some things you get what you pay for.I have worn the same pair for nearly 15 years, had them resoled after about 10 years for about 60 quid, should get another 5 years out of them so 20 years for about 200 quid...absolute bargain in my book ,hate to admit it but the Germans know how to make a good boot Others may differ as it is always a personal choice

  15. I would check the specs of the ones at screwfix,as I mentioned earlier im fairly sure they are the diy ones and the batteries are usually lower amps Have a look at the ones on ffx website and compare.
  16. Hey Mr E!! Yeah not been on a lot
  17. After many years of cheap screwfix cordless drills and a couple of Erbauers I finally treated myself to a Hitachi 18v with two 5 ah lithium Li on batteries from ffx,had it about a year now and not done a massive amount of work, but I have to say mega impressed Also it was the high torque spec one....im fairly sure some of the ones they have cheap at screwfix are not as high spec and are meant for light diy use. Dont know if it will last. ...time will tell.
  18. Ha Ha thats awesome
