This is why I plumpt for a bandit chipper.

These are the feed roller bearings on the bandit 65xl 6" chipper huge bearings compared to such as the timberwolf.

Dont get me wrong, looked after, timberwolf do the job adequately but to get under the magic 750kg most manufacturers are building things to the minimum spec to reduce weight.

The bandit comes in at just over a ton I think but imo thats a good thing, nice big over engineered tackle

My Greenmech bearings are very close to them and ALL greasable, its how this sort of machinery should be after all its next door to agri machinery really and gets the same amount of hammer so why have tin pot toy bearings!

I have heard from Bob that Deano spend more time with the bandit than Mrs L as the bandit has MORE nipples to play with!!!!:001_rolleyes:

i was frightened to open this thread and made sure the kids were out the room just in case they became scared for life by an image!!!

i had a RAM chipper that was the same kind of bearings, but the end of the hydraulic drive was splined into the shaft of the roller and kept stripping out it was a real pita.

How is the drive attached to the rollers on the bandit dean?
