They have now, Staffordshire Moorlands are going the same way,. Tankers are also running water into Stoke on Dope. Not surprising considering we've not built any new reservoirs for 30 years, coincidentally only a few years after the water authorities were sold off.

My well has run dry which surprised me.

You couldn't make it up, massive increase in population over that time and  no more storage capacity.
