Gravel floor in the doorless garage? Strange? There’s supposed to be a housing shortage yet speaking to an estate agent I know he says there’s never been so many houses for sale - and arn’t being sold very quickly?

I think the garage thing is to encourage people to park in the garage not fill it with stuff. This leaves the street much less covered with parked cars.  Seems to help in village where my sister lives

Cars are generally getting bigger so maybe it's not the garages' fault. I mean it clearly is also the garages' fault but what if.

I never noticed the garage door thing when I looked at the photos - not sure if it is a design thought to reduce on street parking (if it was me it would fill up with stuff that would go in the shed), just wondering if it counts as a porch / car porch for the planning
