😂😂 Not fine for me SP fine for the apprentices I mentioned, slow down a bit and read before you reply.
Lol other cultures and missing out eh, well I served in The UK, Germany, NI, Cyprus, Kenya, Jordan etc etc.
I’ve worked all over the world since then from Iceland to South Africa. As you are aware one of my sons is currently doing his national service in Finland the 3rd to do so, all having been born there , have a think about it eh angry man, it stands to reason I might have have actually been around a bit or experienced a bit more than you might think.

Did you have to have a 'Work Permit' when in the Army?

It's shite, the days when you could just jump on a plane and get to climb muckle trees are sadly gone.

I am yet to see anything good about leaving the EU in the way that we did.
We haven't taken back control of our borders.
There's an increase of migrants on boats (is that the Brexit debacle or is it Labour?).
Operation Brock for all the freight that is trickling out of the UK.
etc.

Ah yes the oh we've no borders, yes that's stopped those pesky dingy divers getting from Italy to here.

Oh, you mean just letting them through, gotcha.

Can you expand a bit on that please, as what you said makes no sense to me. What are "dingy divers" and why are they in Italy?

Work it out for yourself, if a dingy diver from half way round the world can find their way to our shores, you can join the dots.

Granted at this rate we'll be the ones emigrating to their country as it'll be a desolate and unpopulated wasteland, like a booze free 18-30 holiday.

The dingy drivers are in demand, they'll be straight back on the next SeaFrance ferry to Calais to do another shift.

They'll never fix it, and I don't think they want to as it gives us something to bicker about.

No work permits in the Army bud.
Democracy Mark it’s a bitch.
If you want to just walk in with no checks or skills then it’s not possible, if you have skills and want to do it you can. Freedom to work anywhere in itself wasn’t too bad it was the freedom of movement for everyone including those who had zero intention of working, one of the other supervisors on the job I was on in Holland recently is from Romania, lives in a stunning place on the Black Sea, he was joking that Romania is a great place nowadays as all the shite has moved out in particular the amount of gypsies that came to the UK.

This is true, but... we also got 27 door slammed in our face... where our kids could go there hassle free... they now cannot.

Out of those 27 which ones would actually pay anything like the wages  people expect. Anyway have a box on me.

This is a good thing in my opinion .

Part of a visa application is a character assessment.  They will usually ask the question " do you have a criminal record" as well as ask for Say your past 5 employers as well as qualifications.

The process takes anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months, you might even have to pitch up at the embassy for an interview ( America I did have to). So in short it's s protection for their nation as well as yourself.

Going from experience employing young blokes from the UK,a bit more of a process than just jumping on a flight and after landing being stunned that everything is different might have weeded out the dreamers and saved both parties huge hassel?
