A thread for those who like to be organised and have useful things about their person, day to day. 
 

I’ve been looking for a pen for ages that won’t stain or wear out my pockets and doesn’t break in five minutes. Cheap ones I won’t cry about if I lose as opposed to smart brass ones etc. I think I’ve found it. 
 

 

Designed for noting insider trading tips you overhear on the fifth tee but golf shops will sell them to anyone. Lids are firm, corners are round, tips are fine. A lovely little victory.

this is a slightly posher one with a walnut handle but still phenomenally good value

My old scout leader used to give out Opinels at ceremonial junctures; being made a seconder or a sixer etc. Then the next size up at your next stage of progression. Brilliant idea I thought. Cheap and stays with you for life. When I became a scout leader, the law was such that I couldn’t do the same thing so I sexually abused them instead.
