For what's it's worth I'm only recently diagnosed with ADHD, it has some massive advantages, give me something dodgy or dangerous I'm in my element. Ambition and progress often exceeds the others around me.

But it's also caused me unbelievable troubles in my life, it's ended a 10year relationship recently, caused significant bouts of depression, the constant distraction is hard to describe. My ambition normally only reaches 80% before I'm looking for a new adventure or some new excitement. It's a shit condition to have nothing glamorous about it.

Due to start medication and other therapies as It's at a point where I'm being held back by it.

They say that ADHD is the most over diagnosed and most under diagnosed condition.

This is all to familiar good luck with it, I think many would agree our industry seem to attract people slightly off centre (in public perception)

I reckon everyone thinks everyone else is weird as we all start measuring from different perspectives

Historically, though not exclusively, climbing and tree work was often the last chance saloon for young men unsuitable through behaviour, education or other reasons, to make a living doing something approaching a ‘trade’

I started for the thrill, I was a pretty decent cabinet maker who was bored.

I've got a huge list of qualifications I've undertaken, tree work the job I always come back to.

That unrest and constant searching is every aspect of my life, it's frustrating
