Kit bag suggestions

Currently use 2 arbortec ones each bag has a rope harness and flip line in but the bags are trashed all the pvc has cracked. 

 

So a bag big enough for rope, harness and flip line ideally no more than £70

You can have good, or cheap.

 

You won't get good for £70

 

Look at army surpus bergens if you don't need arb specific gear.

I've got this Courant one.36 Ltr, and it fits a 45m rope, 5m landyard, crabs etc and a Protos helmet. I think there £68 + vat

I have an arbortec rope bag. Never sees the light of day anymore and it’s almost brand new. Have two of these now. A 60l and a 30l Get chucked around and abused. Can fit 2 climbing lines, lanyard, harness, slings, silkys and a helmet in the 60l. For £24.

How about tree planting bags pretty basic but they look very sturdy & are  UK made

I’ve got one of these bags to carry my rigging kit. Really good bag for the money and takes a beating.

Which one did you get mate? I was just about to buy the 85L bag for exactly the same thing. Looked like they’d hold a heavy rope and plenty of metal pretty well!

I’ve got this bag in 70l. Has the loops on the side for clipping carabiners on. I’ve got a 16mm 60 metre rope, a portwrap, rigging rings, and a couple of racket straps in there. Pretty heavy but holds it all fine.

I've got a Rescuedfromlandfill bag for rope too, it's well made but probably not a great kit bag as you can't zip it up to keep closed and keep the rain out.

 

I also have been using one of those OEX bags for climbing kit for a few years, mine was GoOutdoors. I think if you're going cheap then it's a much better deal than cheap arb which would probably mean Stein , they don't seem to last 5 minutes.
