I wonder what drove him that far to want to do something like that. Must be quite disturbed/angry about something.

£20k fine as that tree must have been protected.

Exactly! It looks like this boy has clearly had training and if so then he should have known better

These sorts of jobs are usually a right mess of curved cuts until the trees finally gives up!

I note they felled it towards the wall. Perhaps hoping to damage the wall too...
