First thought was total disbelief I’ve walked past that tree hundreds of times, whoever did it knew how to fell a big tree !

Just heard on LBC that police have arrested a 16yo boy in connection to the felling of the tree.

I wonder what drove him that far to want to do something like that. Must be quite disturbed/angry about something.

I note they felled it towards the wall. Perhaps hoping to damage the wall too...
