Insurance broker

Does anybody use a broker to sort their public liability insurance? If so, who do you use?

If it’s for proper tree work there aren’t very many companies to choose from, so a broker seems a bit like adding expense for no reason.

 

Also for real tree work you won’t be able to get PL without getting EL as well.

Performance Direct is how I use, just gave them a list of everything I do and got me cover.

I'm sure I've read somewhere on here that somebody used a broker and it brought down the cost of their insurance significantly even though they still ended up being insured by the same company as before.

A Zurich insurance policy (Public and Employers Liability) through Clear Insurance Management (broker).

I’ve got all my insurance (PL, EL, fleet etc) through H&H, my contact is a chap called Luke Conn-Goodman (yes, the name is real!) and he and the rest of his team are superb.

Well I had no reply to my email abotu logbullet insurance! I mentioned you, maybe thats why? 🤣Perhaps you could send me his direct number?
