You aren't on your own Doug.

 

I get that people feel the need to be constantly entertained but some of these events have far outstretched their original purpose,goal,idea, whatever and as you say are now a money making opportunity for someone.

 

Not a gathering, or celebration as originally intended. 

 

 

It won't change sadly, so I avoid.

Morning all , Gumpys and others . 🙂Some much needed over night rain . I swear the barley has shot up 6 inches since yesterday ! Blustery and damp , 15c

Morning all.

Windy here too, sun's out though.

 

Plenty of showers yesterday, quite enjoyed it when I was out and about, felt nice to get wet and the smell of petrichor (thanks for the word OSM!).

 

Made the mistake of going for an evening walk without a coat, not so pleasant once the sun was low. Fortunately the oh assisted with my poor choice of clothing, even though we're dogless, she's still carrying poo bags...

Yes it is sime. It's the edge of a community woodland, got smashed during Arwen, mostly that section has been clear felled and replanted so not much left. Only a few of these edge trees were unscathed.
