Awake and thinking of what jobs to do! Tom's birthday today so offered to take him out but he would rather stop in and have sosige and mash, but may go to pub for a couple with him. Hope tyres for Focus get here to get the MOT finalised too. Glossing stair bits maybe too? Machinery show at Newark? Hmmm.

Tracking says tyres are here, so get them fitted and collect MOT, If not, I got to pay twice and get it retested! I pity Paul at the garage. He can only charge £54 for an MOT and some take over an hour and the garage up the road charge £95 an hour for labour and Mark up the parts too!

Morning, noticeably colder in the mornings now, overcast and dry here.  Hope the others are ok and maybe just having a social media rest.  Heading off to install some barriers for a customer to save them finding a new contractor and going through the procurement hassle, so may open another door for me.  After we collect material then it’s truck stop for. Breaky

Morning all.

Feeling a bit more like myself this morning. Got back at 4am on Saturday, went to bed and woke up with the most horrendous case of man flu. Fortunately the oh avoided it and was fine to get back to the grindstone, I was clearly unlucky to be targeted by the killer disease like us chaps tend to be with these things. Touch and go but it seems I've survived once more.

 

Best wishes to Peds with his continuing recovery.

Thought of Ted a lot, especially when I was lacking sea legs on the ferry!

Hope he's well.
