We know how to impress the ladies though.. there was a survey a few years back for the top ten "manliest" jobs. Arbs took first place, it was discussed on here at the time.

Yeah, nothing turns my missus on more than coming in wet, grumpy, stinking of two stroke and covered in bits of leylandii. A boot full of previously unnoticed dog shit really tips her over the edge.

Ummm, Eau de Dog Shit, the pinnacle of sophistication. What every aspiring Player should wear.

Cat piss sprays out the bottle easier though.

On a slightly related note a bit of western red cedar crushed up and rubbed on the skin leaves a lovely smell, fresh thyme or basil for a more summery note. Beats any lynx or whatevers in an aerosol.

What are salaried climbers on in the UK?

Average ability, not worthy of Instagram but can work within 500m of a childcare facility.

Don't exist. And you can't get Meindls on over an ankle tag.

I write industrial automation control software part of the week and do tree surgery part time, suits the bones. Guess what I say when people ask what I do at BBQs?

Bet @Steve Bullman still says he's an arborist down the pub.

I'm a robotic simulation engineer, used to do tree surgery as well until quite recently. Guess what question I get asked most at BBQs? ----

Can you program a robot to cut this tree down?.
