The Hedge Mong sweepstake

I was temporarily banned many years ago for testing what I thought (in my drunken state at that immediate time) was a swear-filter… I posted (with mild profanity) and what immediately appeared censored my rudeness. Trying to see how it worked with a follow-up post brought down the hammer!

Turns out the modern day arbtalk allows every farking cant (of which there are plenty…) to post what they like!

Apparently calling someone the c word isn't acceptable, who'd have thought.

I don't know much about trolling but as far as the arbtalk league table of trolls goes I reckon hedgy ranks low, second division or pub league.

Steve's report card to Mr and Mrs Mong should read needs to concentrate, must try harder.

He called me that one, water off a ducks back but I got bored of him from that and other pokes and poked the ignore button, first time I have used it! Next hing I heard was he has fallen under the hammer, not great lose in my mind.

Maybe a Sunday afternoon thing, too far from Friday and not close enough to Monday to get wound up. The thread worked but like a lot of attention seekers, trolls, or whatever you want to call them, keep feeding them attention and they will keep coming back for more.

Valid posts and comments for sure, but those that are written just to be controversial and to feed a need perhaps don't need a reply?
