A Muscadet, supermarket crisps and a bit of the old egg chasing.

 It’s the weekend!

I was ummming and ahhhing about the shop this evening. You've caused me to arrive at a decision. You know how to live, Mick.

Sure, you were going to stay sober tonight but for my intervention!

I've been all but off the booze for a couple of months now. Not enjoying red like I have done for 25 years and it's not agreeing with me. Beer and cider fine, sherry tolerable (except the sugar, which even zombifies me if I eat too many sweets). Aren't I delicate.

Haven't had a gin and tonic for ages. Must check I can still drink those.

Now this is living!

An outstanding crisp white from Saumur.
Not available in box form, so going posh ce soir.
Plus Igor in a too small bed the wife bought for him today.

Just knocked up a bit of Cornish Pasty supper to soak up the Rum.
I am helping out some French guys tomorrow, winching up an A-Frame for a house based on Ben Laws place.
I will save on for each worker, be interested in what they think of the  Empanada Anglais.
