Strange. Any pics. My steel Jerry's usually empty in a couple of mins...

No pics but the brand is wavian.  They seem good quality, but as has been said the spout is rather small.

Not long ago I was on that website looking at metal cans, after the discussion about how much leaks through the material of plastic cans, didn't see the screw top so they must be pretty new.

I'd ring them up or email, as in the description it says

"Extra wide breather valve for a fast, smooth pour"

If you're going through 50-100 litres a month, is it not worthwhile getting a bulk delivery of diesel? Either red or white? Then you can use whatever containers you want (ideally the plastic oil drums 20-25l)

I used to get bulk deliveries, but I have enquired in recent times and it is actually more expensive that way now.  And my use has dropped from maybe 500 litres per month to less than 100.  And when I finally get my inverter connected it will reduce further as I will no longer need a diesel generator.
