@Will C has experience here.

I’ve just had a quote of £39 + VAT, but that’s for 6mm.

I’m a tad worried it might be a bit bendy!

It will be fine for a little loader and a chipper. I’ve run as much weight over it as a little loader will carry with out leaving a mark in lawns. Beyond that  I’ve run a 4x4 and 3.5t tipping trailer loaded over 6mm, it bends but won’t snap, that left a mark in grass but only a mark not a rut.

I think the flex possibly helps spread the weight as it moulds to the ground. I can’t comment on weather thicker would be better or not as I’ve not tried it but can confirm the 6mm does the job well for a loader.

I have 6mm boards (I think) and the Logbullet and tractor pass over them fine. The thicker it is, the heavier it is as mentioned, and harder to manoeuvre about by hand. I copied my good friend John and cut some handles into mine with an angle grinder! Makes life a bit easier when moving them. They can be a tad slippery when off camber so be warned!

Super cheap aren’t they.
l’ll let you buy them first and see how they go 😀
to be fair at that money I might just buy ten and they will have other uses even if too light for the machines.  Prob fine for running my worky quad around on

It's great stuff will never waste money on ply for ground protection. We run everything on it in gardens, small loader, digger, trucks and tractor. Even used it hedge planting when trench had to be dug drag excess soil on them to were trailer was then loaded it.
