Currently running BF Goodrich A\T on my old 2006 sprinter van rwd. Its been really surprising so far , not been stuck so far and i have had it on wet grass which on standard road tyres may as well have been black ice with a liberal coating of wd40. Only downside is cost so would be tempted to go for the cheaper copies next time round.

Tyres make a big difference but also knowing your vehicles limits.

Built a mk7 transit monster truck a few years back for the jobs where we needed something between a van and the tractors.wirked a treat but had its limits. Surprised me where it would go but also surprised me some of the stupid places I'd get it stuck!20211030_164859.thumb.jpg.abaf9e8db8f94b6da5446056a4af6133.jpg

A neighbouring farm fitted duals on a tractor in much the same way. Don't know if he had problems with it. Looking at that, I wonder if equivalent flotation type tyres might have worked well? The Agribuggys I used to drive were on Land Rover running gear, with tyres about a foot wide. I really miss my old LDV Convoys, dual rear wheel drive beats the snot out of a front wheel drive Transit, I can tell you!
