It does say in the blurb 10 year lifetime, so maybe would save you buying another in 5 years.

 

Of course you've got to be planning to climb for another 10 years for that to be an advantage.....

Still climbing 2-3 days a week. Mind you I ache a bit afterwards.

Who wants to be climbing in a 10 year old saddle?

 

You'd have to replace bits so frequently it would be more cost effective to buy two standard ones
