Chainsaw value, anyideas?

They teach the heel method in the basic crosscutting & felling, as those toecaps on the boots only fit in the cheeks of  butt 😬

I drop start all of mine, never done it any other way.. I pull out the rope until the sprags have engaged first and then drop start it as normal. Works for me..

Sorry 😁 but ‘drop starting’ a chainsaw just conjours up an image of a fat pikey (is there any other kind?) in shorts, holding the rope in one and and throwing the chainsaw with the other. 
 

I start all my saws, even from cold by holding the handle between my legs.

Yes, that is a good method, i agree, but i have a rather unfortunate medical condition related to ones goolies, that means that the very last thing you want to do, is to put something between your legs, then yank a rope attached to it!!
