Anyone know much about it? The doctor tells me I've got it in my hands/fingers, if you've got it what do you use to relive the pain, apart from beer, pot and painkillers?

Assuming they have done a blood test for inflammation markers ?
There are many things you can do diet related to help if it is.
You could try avoiding foods from the nightshade plant for a start, potatoes being one, Tomatoes another but not so bad if cooked.
I now avoid them but every now and then slip and have potatoes and my knees and fingers are a nightmare for a few days.

Isn’t tumeric supposed to be the latest craze for aches and pains.
Loads of sportsmen / women advertising it online atm

This, agreed. They've used it in herbal medicine for aeons  and providing you're not on blood thinning meds I've heard a lot of people swearing by it. If you have arthritis chances are your system is too acidic and you need to eat and drink stuff that will alkalise it, easiest way to find out how is the search engines

After having a good read about arthritis it seems it can be hereditary which makes a little sense, my old girl had it. That's just my luck!
