I had a mate ( well he still is ) who was a rep  for an advertising firm ( printed adverts ) His first works car was an HA viva . He put a brick on the throttle and walked away until it blew up .

Learned to drive in a Viva estate Mick,the sills was rotten so my old man stuffed chicken wire in em and filled em and painted bitumen over top🤣

We did that to an old 205 diesel we had as a hot rod in a friends forestry. After waiting in tense anticipation for well over an hour the feckin thing ran outta fuel.

Would probably still be going if the tank was big enough!

Mate had an ex GPO HA van, you could rev that until valves bounced!
