A mate of mine had a hernia a few years back. He was in reasonable shape and was back to his usual self within 6 weeks. You might well have got lucky and caught it before it got really bad.

No results from the ultrasound on Wednesday yet, but the driver wouldn’t tell me anything, it has to come from my GP.

I kind of hope it isn’t a hernia, but realistically a hernia might be the least bad diagnosis, if you know what I mean?

I had surgery on my knee last year, the ultrasound could tell there was something amiss but they didn't know how mangled it was until they had a look.

You'll be sound mate.

Dr's know their stuff.

Thanks Mark.

If it is really bad I can go and work in other Mark’s arb shop in Scouse land for a bit while I heal up.

Six weeks of doing f-all but putting Stihl sweeties into boxes containing arb gear at 900% mark up will be a doddle.

Commission based, I can probably retire afterwards.

Cheers,

Mark

He’ll call me Mick.

If it was anything serious he'd have been all over it by now, scouser or not. Just a bayonet and stock fencing by the sounds of it.

How’s your hip now incidentally? Still working on it ? Climbing ? emoji1307.png

It's been good althought it was quite a few years ago I had it done, a couple of years ago though I started cyclying much longer distances like 50 miles and that can aggravate one of them, the other (had both done) is like there was never anything wrong with it.

Just had the doctor call back eventually.

Turns out I haven’t got a hernia.

I’ve got two, both sides.

Looks like a long wait even for surgical assessment.

Bugger.
