 Yeah can't get the old out house built saws,  but never used makita? Have you used much makita dolmar stuff? 



I have the Makita 4300 as well. Came with an 18” bar out the box. Great wee saw. Dropped a 65 foot Spruce with it today and all the sending that goes along with that. Well worth the money.

Look on Amazon.de for a bargain.

There's not a lot lighter than a 241 in that category, they're incredibly light and very nice to use.

 

I was going to buy a 241 but got a 550 Mk II. The 550 is so light, compact and manoeuvreable there was no need for a smaller saw.

 

If it has to be lighter use a Silky and make the engine noises yourself?

Great chainsaw. A friend has one and for snedding/light felling it's awesome and so lightweight. Kind of pricey though.
