Less choice for new pickups

It’s rumoured that Mitsubishi and Nissan pickups won’t be available new in the UK from early next year🤔. That leaves only Ford, Toyota and Isuzu as choices for a new truck. I believe the Ssangyong Musso is also still available but possibly not for much longer?) , also with the possibility of the “French Grenadier” if that ever gets produced. They’re all over priced as it is so will be interesting to see how competitive the prices are with less competition? I think we know where the Grenadier prices will be!

Anyone know of a Isuzu 4wd single cab (ie2seater) around the 15k mark. Don’t mind travelling.

There's a massive lack of base vehicles and parts for vans, pickups and trucks. I'm a member of a Motorhome forum, people are ordering new vans atm that the converters/dealers are saying won't be available until the back end of 2022... and very few ever turned up on time before Covid.

Ford rangers are having engine issues (look on a fB group for them) two mates now regret buying them..

Hilux has a min new order delivery date of Feb 22 now

DMax felt a bit plasticky but seems to review well.

I have a Hilux arriving in Oct to replace a mk6 hilux after much research

What's the newer navaras like? I see plenty about so presume they must be cheap enough to buy.... 

 

Might have to get a fresh pick up at some point as the newer ones have more room inside for the family etc

I love the Navaras, have had 4 from new and would have had a 5th if the dealers weren’t so flaky. I prefer them to the Hilux I’ve ordered tbh!
