Rod Hull?

Ha! Nope, a real one. But just as ill tempered! It escaped from the petting zoo we happened to be visiting at the time. I think it wanted my ice cream! I was too young to remember the exact circumstances but as far as 5 or 6 year old me was concerned it was actual real life jurassic Park shit.

My older brother's girlfriend saved my life by chucking a thermos at it and making squaking noises while flapping her arms. He was unable to help, he was laughing too much.

It's just the one, a male, that's aggressive. He's a sneaky bugger; as soon as you turn your back he creeps up on you. Surprisingly quiet for such big birds. He's drawn blood on a few occasions, with me and others.
If they were mine I'd use a big stick to teach some respect. Got to be careful though, not good for customer relations!

There you go. Conor, the voice of experience favours a thermos to defeat the dinosaur ancestor!
