This is not uncommon in many industries

People in general can have a lot of insecurity and various issues from previous relationships. I doubt the husbands own behavior has anything to do with it

As you should have, you probably came across as bright, eager, energetic and wanting to impress

And rightly or wrongly it set off alarms bells with the wife.

Your all better out of it, he should have known better

That's the only drawback, when you don't work no money comes in.

I thought you had a millionaire father and a cushie pension from the Fire Service? You really are full of it.

He's just stating a fact! You don't work you get no money! Simple Unless of course you are on the social!

Surely the point of a great pension is that you've done the work and no longer have to? With such an illustrious career behind him and an amazing pension it just seems odd to be scratching a living cleaning windows in the dead of winter.

Opposite the needles as in newforest area on the north island or Freshwater?

ive not grown up yet so I can’t say we’re I grew up!
New Forest area, lived near Lymington. Just near where RobD is now.

I'm less than two years off the 50s thread so I probably have to at least start pretending to be grown up some of the time.

Yes wee Dave i have just moved to Shanklin but the house needs a lot of work so I’ve took a lot of time off to do as much as I can. It’s funny I have only been on the site since October but you really miss seeing what everyone is up to when you don’t get time to log on. You’re all like a wee family x Thankyou so much for your kind words.
