You said it was anonymous Mick.

I voted, and the ‘almost never’ % went up, which could blow my cover if the HSE are monitoring this.

I have contacted my legal people.

I've a fair idea who the one is 😬

I’m not sure it is is it ?
It’s not a statement it’s a question .
I don’t think you can have a question as a false dichotomy that is based upon fact ?
....could be wrong though Jo ? I’m relatively simple if I’m being honest 🥸

With the two extreme options given, I'd say so. But then "occasionally, when I feel it's helpful" is a tediously sensible option to give us.

Truth is, I'm using two systems more and more when I'm pruning mature hardwoods etc. I don't faff with two seperate ropes. I've got eyes either end of my line and I carry a spare vt system on my harness. If I reach an awkward bit or feel like it would be helpful I'll bang a second system in and remove it once I no longer need it.

Both ends, old school.

I’m not certain that counts as a separate attachment point, I know it’s been done to death on here so can anyone answer that?

It's two separate anchors, if one fails your still safe, so ticks the boxes, IMO.

As long as you can still reach the ground I would say that’s fine.

But that means for a 20 mètre tree you’d need 80 odd mètres of rope to reach the ground on ddrt, which is a lot.

Maybe less, I dunno, calling all pedants!
