So IVECOKID are they the same chippers the MDL 15hp and the GTS 1300?

Basically Yes , loads of different variations' with choice of engines/wheels/towbar etc but the Drum and intake /chute is all the Same .

I was a bit wary at first but I cant knock it for my Domestic gardens and I have modified the axle so its 28" and will fit anywhere now .

I use a wheelie bin to chip into then tip in bulk bags on trailer, 8 bulk bags is the most I have shoved through in one day without any issues but I have said before there is a knack to using them !

Cool mate thanks for that. It sounds like the kind of work I do mostly anything bigger and I would keep the wood for my wood burning stove. On large jobs I could just hire a tow behind chipper. 😉 many thanks.

Does an Eliet Pro IV get you into the Wee chipper club?... the original version?..

Bought it years ago, used it a time or two an that was it.. I could get it loaded onto the trailer in the morning, but somehow couldn't manage to load it back on the trailer at the end of the day...

Pimped up ma trailer during the winter, fitted a boat winch on it to drag the damn thing up.. No more Woodchipper falling off the trailer cause I hadn't the strength to keep hold of it after a hard days work LOL's...

Anyways, been using it today on a small job.. surprised how effective it was to be honest...

Anyways, does it count as a Wee Chipper?.......

  • 4 weeks later...

Bought myself a slightly larger wee chipper at an auction last Friday an 18HP Cramer HS450 wants a new air filter, a good clean & the blades sharpening then I will have to shop around for the best blade & belt prices I can find to ensure I have spares to hand but seems to be running ok.

Won't get into as tight a space as my 5HP Rover chipper will but handles bigger material & should help bridge the gap between that & the big chipper.
