I like my JoBeau which pushes itself, especially at the end of the day onto the trailer when I'm tired (with an f). Can't do steps at all though, without a couple of planks.
Swivel chute is really useful, yes.
Shrubs fly through, have to be a bit careful not to let too much in at once as can block.

I'm surprised to see that comment about blocking Dan.  In 6 years of my JB I reckon I've blocked the spout perhaps 4 times, every time with stringy material (e.g. Cotoneaster shrub) and time-for-a-change blades, not even wet conifer.  I find the infeed blocks long before the outfeed!

I would highly doubt it.  Thats where the manual ones come into their own.  Tracked might be easier but a manual will be far more useful overall.  Afterall, the whole point of tracks it for access.  For a machine that can be wheeled in reasonably easy then I don't see the point in the extra expense

I couldn't disagree more Steve, I've had my peruzzo coming up to a year now and it's won me loads of work where you would need loads of bodies dragging and it's got into and out of places you really wouldn't get any other chipper.

Massive thumbs up for this bit of kit ? so for me the advantages of a tracked machine far out weigh those of a push machine  + who wants to push a few hundred kilos about unloading, manoeuvring & loading up etc when you can just effortlessly pull a couple of levers. The only thing it needs is expanding tracks! ? ?
