Amazingly similar to a CS100 cutting unit, and made by our old dealer for Italy, Peruzzo. What a coincidence!

So... probably a good punt then at that price?

Bought a haecksler H3 from jim upsom @ upsom mowers, gentleman to deal with by the way, very pleased with the wee chipper, I had a choice between a janson gts 1500 or a greenmech cs100, but then I saw the Haeksler in action and was very impressed.

Good choice. I love mine. Just keep the blades super sharp. Touch them up with a sand stone to clean up the edges every now and than. You can do that job while leaving the blades on the machine.

Anyone know best place for bearings? Replacing the blade drum on my CS100 so thought I'd do the bearings while it's off. Had a quote at £85 + vat per bearing plus £25 p&p, that's some postage charge.

Anyone know how to remove the drum from the cassette on a greenmech cs100 ? I've taken pulley wheel off and the 6 small bolts on the end of cassette up to now. Got a new drum to fit.
