Just wondering if you wuold buy an xtorq 365 over a modern
saw of similar size.
The AV figures dont look apealing compared to modern saws,
is it worth going more modern to get the better AV.
The rest of the saw I would have no qualms about.

The modern version, the 565 has better AV, but they are as expensive

here as the new Stihl MS400, which is lighter more powerfull and has better AV figures.

Its so long since I had my 372 I cant recall if I was buzzed by the vibes or not.

Had 365 special and now 372 xtorq, never noticed the vibes particularly.
Yep. Not noticed them being particularly bad. Who knows if felling all day, day in day out you might notice compared to modern saws

365xtorq is a bit of a plodder compared to 372 though. If it was the same money I'd buy the MS400 for more power, less weight, and probably better fuel consumption, not necessarily the vibes.

MS400 is 225.00 dearer than the 365 if I were to get a 25.00 discount on the 365,

so 200.00 more expensive based on asking price of 365

Depends if you want to be seen as hip and trendy. 365 was known as a farmers saw as solid and reliable, mine blew up doing FC oversize and edge trees, but that's hard on saws.

Nope. Autotune, better AV, better ergonomics, more power.

I love the ease of use of the new saws. I'd much rather have a 562/572.

The 572 certainly gets good press.
