Lining mesh sides

Ditto.   I've put small clips on the elastic loops so can clip to the mesh from outside.
 
But mine was a freebie from @se7enthdevil !   Cheers Steve!

Mine must be the deluxe version, has it's own clips.

Truck cover fabric, light weight. easy to attach and you could even have it so it clips into place and can be rolled up when you are not chipping into it. less of a wind brake so better on fuel

You could use 3mm stokboard. 

IFW now offer 3mm solid chequerplate side extensions,  750 + vat a set or thereabouts.
