shooting a cobra out of a tree

Shoot out the bracing... and then what?

Just not sure I see the logic in shooting out bracing, (besides it being entertaining) to then presumably either climb the tree to replace the bracing, or climb to dismantle the tree... It sounds like a hoot, but one way or the other, you're going to have to climb it...

I assumed the bracing is holding the tree up and guaranteed that it will fail without it?

MEWP would be the more sensible (but desperately more boring) option

Yeah, which presumably means if you shoot it out it'll fall apart. Which would make shooting it out a terrible idea, unless you can just deck the thing, in which case don't bother.

Clearly a MEWP is a much better idea ?
