so two main problems are not enough work, and can't go to the pub. Shouldn't mean people are bored though. What about studying to further a skill set? Reading doesn't have to be Middlemarch, could be an electronics textbook for example.

The growing good of the world is partly dependent on unhistoric acts; and that things are not so ill with you and me as they might have been, is half owing to the number who lived faithfully a hidden life, and rest in unvisited tombs.”  –  George Eliot, Middlemarch.

Had enough big time. Not normal to have this much time on your hands. Projects are all well and good but looking over your shoulder constantly regarding income etc is not good for the mental health.
Myself mrs and kids were out today, people are out and about and contrary to the ridiculous I dont understand comments from some areas people are taking care and behaving differently ok admittedly not the scaremongering type of avoidance of all people at all costs etc but just common sense application of the guidance. Like the HS said today we cannot live in lockdown indefinitely.

We (the hired man and me, well mostly him tbh) built this during lockdown

A carport for me and the wife’s cars, been talking about it for years, no excuses now.

Total cost of materials around 5k

Rather pleased with it.
