So, who’s drinking more in the evening during lock down. ?

I’ve noticed I’m consuming more. Not that work has been much different to normal but definitely sinking more whilst in lockdown. Anyone else the same ?

Maybe I need another workshop project so I’m drinking tea instead of booze most of the evening [emoji23]

Nearly everyone I know is.
I’m probably drinking the same as ever, but spreading it out over the week a bit more, I’m a traditional Thu-Sun caner.

The down side and the upside for me is my mum owns a pub and I’m
Supporting trade by buying wine through the pub from the suppliers. It’s my effort for the economy and supporting independent businesses [emoji23]

I normally drink little and not really increased during lockdown.

There's a bloke spending the lockdown refurbishing the village pub that is about 50 yards from our house, the amount I drank dropped quite a bit when that closed four years ago and I fear may go back up again when it finally opens.

I try not to drink to much when Im home. But I do like a wee snifter! Cant drink off-shore, cant drink much at home, so quarantine it is. [emoji3]

I picked up a new sideboard yesterday as the one we inherited from the previous owners of our new house, was riddled with woodworm. This is just the whiskies I brought out. I had a customer who wad a Tesco Director and every Christmas he bought me a bottle of single malt. I hadn't the heart to tell him I don't drink whisky! One of them is a Glendronach Parliament 21 year old. Value is around £100. Not touched.

Nice, i inherited my late fathers whisky collection, some of which we sold as they were too valuable to drink, the rest i'm slowly working my way thru, although the pace has picked up quite a bit in the last 7-8 weeks. I wonder why ??

Nice little gathering there, you should try that Macallan though it might change your opinion of whisky!
