Saw upgrade

Hi guys,

I have a ms391 (2012) that I use for the bigger bits of fire wood which is Mainly ash up to 30". Would like to up grade to a newer saw which will be used for ringing up. Welcome your advice ?

So the MS 391 is about 65cc ?  Do you want to replace it ? or keep it and get a bigger saw as well ?  as above a 372xp is a cracking saw .

365xp can be fettled in to a 372 I believe.

Thanks for the advice guys I am kind of keen to stick with sthil but will keep the options open.... I think slightly bigger would be good !! Thought about a 462 but would that be a bit to "sporty"

A 500i would do that job better than a 391 [emoji106]

372, no electronic carb to go wrong, they are good solid saws. 365xt can easily be converted to a 372xt.

Can run your stihl bars on 372 etc with a converter from chainsawbars.co.uk.

Its not as sporty as a 462 or 500i, but its for ringing up firewood after all, not felling on piece rate.

Was offered a good s/h 372 about a month ago for £200, should have bought it really, was well looked after with little use.

Got asked about these the other day ?? Never seen or come across them, Anyone used ?? Big saw for the price
