Bless you OSman mine was pale ale at 70P  in the new money ! Then landlady saw me next day in my school uniform so that door was firmly closed ?  k

What year was that? Inflation started ramping up around 1968 but my figure for a pint was in 1973 when we joined the common market, we subsequently had a referendum 2 years later and inexplicably stayed in.

Were you 15 when you got your 11d pint? Actually I think working men's clubs sold a cheap pint  but I don't remember beer being that cheap.

Yea , probably . Its all a bit vague now you see . It would have been in the Selsey hotel ( no longer there )  and it was flat as a witches tit . ?
