Not my problem mate. I'd rather be able to go for a pint with my friends, than worry about international travel.

Thats the thing thought. Lock everyone up for a month. Covid all but eradicated from the UK. Back to business as usual but also back to square one in a matter of weeks then back to lock-down.

If they had just slipped us all a couple of K and told us to stay home for a month, we could have sorted this last year.

I don't have kids, I don't think that their schooling is the biggest unnecessary casualty right now either. If you're incapable of home-schooling a child, you probably aren't qualified to have one.

Since you don’t have kids I’ll try and explain something. School is about far more than the learning. And we can’t give the other things that aren’t lesson to them

Friday nights are obviously when you are let out to play.
If after reading that post the day after the sauce had worn off and you didn’t see how badly it read then there’s not much point in me trying to explain it to you.

Well johnsond, it’s just that I don’t see that not thinking people should die that don’t really need to die at that time is in bad taste, after all they have contributed to our society all through their working lives, Andy is for sacrificing their lives so his daughter doesn’t have a break in her education, of which the consequences would appear to be insufferable. It’s just my POV, I’m sure you’ll have some longwinded explanation why you are right and I am wrong.

Yeah, I get let out quite often[emoji23], I just don’t spend it all on a wood forum typing long winded post after post on politics. You obviously have plenty time on your hands, lucky man[emoji106]
