I have put 8000squid of fuel into a vehicle in a couple of years, so it aint any big deal for some. Its the cleaner running in town. But really we need to use personal cars much less! K

Yes, plus the cost if the leccy to charge it, plus the extra cost of buying a leccy car. It's much more expensive on paper

We are also in the process of looking into this. I can't get my head round the whole benefit in kind thing. Being only newly formed as a ltd company I don't really understand the difference in company vehicle types. I will post if/when I get a better understanding. That Jaguar looks mint!

A customer has that jag. It took him from London to Cardiff no problem, but when he came back ,he stopped to charge at a service station, all charging point were used. He carried on until he had very little juice left, and he had to phone jaguar up to ask where the nearest charging point was. He just about made it to one, but it was touch and go!

Interesting, I had not heard of Rivian.  At least their pick-up looks better than the Tesla pick up.  I don’t know what Tesla we’re thinking with the design of it.  Here it is for anyone wondering.

Sorry I am too much of a dinosaur to get a picture to appear on this post you will have to google it!

The Tesla looks like a collapsed green house to me . The Rivian I have liked from the get go . The front looks a little " buck Rogers " but I could live with that , if I could afford one !

Theres really not a shortage of charging points. Sounds to me like your customer just wasn't that prepared.

Pretty sure theres an app to guide you to charging stations too.

The woman near me has a new Leaf . If she wants to go to Scotland from west Sussex it programs her route to include any charging places she would need .

There isnt enough lithium in the world to produce enough batteries for us all to go electric.

That's what I understood until recently . I saw something were that " myth " was blown . Apparently there is shed loads of it under the sea  it seems . Who do you believe though ......

He already told us that battery life couldn't get any better anyway, so really this whole thread is pointless I guess.
