Free e-bike (sort of)

Just looked it up, HMRC mileage rates are calculated at 45p/mile, (and I don't actually own a car, got a couple of vans)

 

DIY electric bike kit cost about £460 earlier in the year.

 

And today have now gone over the 1000 mile mark, which means that it's now free right

There used to be a lower rate for bicycles.  Is it now the same as a car?

Do the gubbin mint send you a cheque or is it paid into your bank ? They told me my double glazing would pay for itself then still asked for money after it was fitted ?
