I feel sorry for the technicians at Shepshed Ford, they done everything that Ford have told them to and that has taken the time. I understand that things break down and workshop's cost etc. But it is devilishly frustrating and time consuming! My job revolves about towing GreenMech wood chipper products up and down and having a ropey old thing or getting a very expensive rental to do my work is a PITA!

Hi Pete are you on LinkedIn? it is full of shit but the Ford MD is on there and seems to respond directly to issues messaged direct to him? might be worth a try?

Guess what? The mechanics did as the Ford Field Engineer told them - fit a new tank as it was this which is faulty and it won't record anything more than 67%! The next step is to remove all the wiring from the ECU to the tank and the associated parts, check it for corrosion and try that! I did suggest that I have it back, put tape over the warning light and chuck stuff in every week but that will not help!
