Hi, I am interested if you need it removed FOC? ? Milling is only a hobby for me so can't afford to pay for the timber. Based near horsham so can remove it from site if you want it gone.

Thanks. But ideally I'd like some money for it, if not I'll just log it for firewood

Well looking at the leaves on the grass, it don’t look like any sycamore i know.. But a guess is Japanese maple..?
should have tapped it.. we could ave been Japanese syrup making.

I guess it’s gonna end up as fire wood..time is money and I don’t have the outlet or the facilities to dry and wait for someone to pay for this wood..and at a guess 3\3.5Mt long and and 20\24” diameter

It will go off like concrete , get it split soon ?

I second that.  Let some Syc rings sit for a few weeks a while ago expecting an easy split by hand (I am my own log splitter).  No chance. Took steel wedges and a sledge to see them off.
