At Gettysburg some years ago, I remember walking past a large Oak that had a sign by it stating ''Abraham Lincoln walked past this tree''. Made me chuckle and wonder what he got up to by any other trees further on the walk!

Well every tree I remove I always place my hand on it and try to make my peace with it . Always have always will . Ive taken some stick for it mind you . Oh not conifers

Went to see Avatar last night and as the tree was coming down I found myself thinking .. is that softwood? hardwood? ... wondering how many cubic metres .. how long to season ...... I think I need to get out more

Saw it last night, and absolutely loved every minute. The 3d fx are just outstanding! Good story...ish, amazing graphics. The future of film has arrived. Soon we will all have 3d TV's in out front rooms, and all be sporting those specs!

Controversial bit now, I think I must be the only person in the country that didn't like it. Bit too Cliched for my liking. When he gave that speech to the army, thought he was going to call "for Freedom!!!" Bit too overrated IMO.
